Regional Job Retention Networks

Being part of a regional job retention network gives you an opportunity to share and learn good practice, exchange ideas and keep up to date about topical issues and concerns in your field. It can often feel lonely, frequently working in isolation as an employment practitioner, sometimes without clear understanding by others of what you actually do, and what some of the specific challenges might be in your role.

Regional Networks have now developed across the UK, currently in London and the South East, Thames Valley and the South, the Midlands, and the North. Meetings have more recently tended to be online, which has made it easier for individuals to join from further afield than they may have previously done, when meetings took place face to face.
Recent Meetings have involved advice shops from Employment Law Specialists,  ways of improving working with Occupational Health, better working with Trade Unions, and a Peer Supervision slot, where practitioners can bring challenging cases for advice and support.
